Emmy Awards for Non-Traditional Content

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, the fine people that bring you the Emmy awards for TV programming have announced a new award called Outstanding Acheivement in Content for Non-Traditional Delivery Platforms (via World of Wonder). The award will recognize content specifically created for a variety of platforms like vlogs, cellphones, computers, and handhelds. We’ve blogged about creating your own media thanks to broadband and how there will be a potentially huge explosion of content created independently as true broadband is deployed. Now, you can even earn an Emmy for your work!
